Jerrel Wayne Elliott

Jerrel Wayne Elliott born 07/19/1943 of Lizemores, WV went home to be with the Lord on 01/08/2024 after a long illness.

He was born on July 19, 1943, to the late Jennings and Bessie (Ward) Elliott. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 4 brothers, Bob, Charles, Orville and George and 2 sisters, Maxine and Alice.

Jerrel is survived by his wife of 20 years, Enith Gay (Jones) Elliott of Lizemores, WV and a sister, Emma Lou Elliott Neal (Percy) of Summersville, WV. 2 sisters-in-law, Ethel (Freddie) Coleman OF Lizemores, WV and he loved and thought so much of Karen (Roger) Mullins of Bentree, WV.; special nephew, William (Dreema) Coleman of Lizemores, WV who he thought so much of. Also, a very special great nephew William Lee Coleman of Lizemores, WV. A really devoted family friend/caretaker Diane Evans Belt (Ernie) of Salisbury, NC but has been here with the family for several months. Many nieces and nephews.

He worked as a merchant marine, coal miner and the Bark Plant of Bell Creek.

He enjoyed quite time and going off by himself.

Funeral services will be on Friday, January 12, 2024, 1:00 pm at the Bible Baptist Church, Belva, WV, with a one-hour visitation prior to the service from 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm with Minister Steve Hall officiating. A burial will follow in the Elliott Cemetery, Lizemores, WV
