Diana Lea Cain

 Diana Lea Clark Cain, 62 of Greenview WV, formerly of Gauley Bridge passed away peacefully on Thursday May 18, 2023, from Boone Memorial Hospital after a short illness.

  She was born September 26, 1960, at Montgomery WV the daughter of the late John and Bernice Pernell Clark of Gauley Bridge.

 In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John Cain and her grandson Alexander Brandard. 

  Diana was a homemaker, a mother and a grandmother. She raised her children with much love and dedication. Diana loved animals, the outdoors, camping, and gardening, she also enjoyed going to church, and cooking for her family. 

  Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Matthew Cain at home, and John (Jennifer)Cain II of Greenview, and her daughter Julia (Chris)Cain of Gauley Bridge. Diana was a loving grandmother to 6 grandchildren JaLynn (Tim)Hatfield, Ryan Cain, Joshua Hughes, Timothy Shuler II, Thorn Brandard and Haley Cain, and one great-grandson Gabriel Hatfield.

  She is also survived by one sister Patricia (John)Clark, and three brothers, John (Debbie)Clark, Ronnie Clark, and Jeff (Nora)Clark. She also had five nieces and three nephews with a host of other relatives.

 In honor of Diana’s wishes her remains have been cremated and a celebration of life memorial service will be held Wednesday May 24,2023 from 4:00 P.M till 6:00 P.M at The Scrabble Creek House of Prayers located at 226 Scrabble Creek Road, Gauley Bridge WV.

 In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be sent to John Cain, Julia Cain, or Matthew Cain to help with cremation expenses. 

 Her remains have been entrusted in the care of Pennington Smith Funeral Home of Gauley Bridge.
