Ernest Edward Brown, of Twenty Mile, passed away February 22, 2021 at his home.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Holbert and Ursley Brown, his son Terry Brown; brothers, Cecil, Bob, and Howard Brown; sisters, Irene Neal, Geraldine Foster, Freda Johnson, Grace Russel, and Helen Hanshaw. As well as 3 grandsons.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Pearl Brown; his son Ernest D. Brown, his daughters, Debra Brown, Teresa Parry, Daphne Markham, Tonia Elswick, Greta Brown, his grandson Joshua Brown, as well as 11 other grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Ernest was a Veteran of the Korean War, retired from Elkem Metals of Alloy, an avid player of cornhole, and a member of the VFW.
Funeral service will be held Friday, February 26, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Vaughn Baptist Church with visitation one hour prior to.
