Please accept my heartfelt condolences in the passing of Ray. I had the privilege of working with him for the last 5 years, the last 2 and 1/2 directly. He was one of the most genuine, honest and straight-forward people that I have ever encountered. He always seemed to make time for his co-workers, even when he was at his busiest. We have lost a great person and friend with his passing. His shoes will be hard to fill here, and things won't ever be the same without his presence here.

My condolences to the family of Ray. I have worked with Ray for the last 5 years here at the WV Lottery. Ray was one of the first people I met here and he made me feel like I had walked in my families home, and he had never stopped making me feel like I belonged here. I will miss his devilish smile and his ornery laugh. His Lottery family has a huge void that can never be filled the same way. Love & Prayers to his family.

So sad - I had the pleasure of working with Ray through my employer. Ray was a very smart man, but one who exhibited compassion to others. Our employees all loved him. His gravely voice and warm smile will always be missed.

There are few men that I can say I respect as much as I respected Ray and I am truly honored to say that I had the privilege to work with him. He was a rock for me during many hard days, and his bear hugs never failed to make the bad days better. He gave me many words of wisdom that I remind myself of often and ones I'll never forget. Ray was a loved man and he left a lasting impression on everyone that had the pleasure of knowing him. Words fall short of expressing my sorrow for your loss! Prayers to all of his family and friends.

A shared memory of Ray. He took my brothers and I, White Water Rafting, for the first time. I shared with him that I had six brothers and one sister. Ray shared that he had six sisters and one brother. We laughed and thought what a coincidence. With a heavy heart and prayers, I send to each of Rays; siblings, children, spouse, grandchildren and many, many friends. I just learned about his passing. There are no words that will ease the pain that one feels, after someone loved, leaves this earth. I am sorry for your loss. May his memories, forever surround you all. Never, never stop talking and remembering him. For he will always be with you <3 Rest in peace.
