Hallie Parsons, 90, of Dixie, went home to be with her Lord, June 3, 2011.
Born on March 22, 1921, in Roane County, she was the daughter of the late Rev. Ed and Hazel Nutter Hunt. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother, William Hunt and nephew, Mike Hunt.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, friend, homemaker and a long-time member of Bell Creek Baptist Church, Dixie.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 70 years, Mack M. Parsons; children and their spouses, Mack Edward and Vivian Parsons of Belle and Barbara and Bob Kincaid of Dixie; grandchildren, Robert Mack (Jennifer) Kincaid of Beckley, Eric R. (Marcie) Kincaid of Morgantown, Cindy (Travis) Mulanax of Charleston; step-grandchildren, Isaiah (Tiffany) Litton of Weston and Eli (Stephanie) Litton of Dixie; great-grandchildren, Laken, Sam, Robbie, Gabe, Katie and Blake; step-great-grandchildren, Brett and Bex; niece, Hallie Grace of Virginia and great-nephew, Brandon Hunt of Ronceverte, West Virginia.
Funeral service will be 2 pm Monday, June 6, 2011, at Bell Creek Baptist Church, Dixie, with Pastor Shane Wynn and Reverend Basil Hensley officiating. Burial will follow in Montgomery Memorial Park, London.
Friends may call from 12:30 til 2 pm on Monday at the Church prior to the service.
The family would like to thank Hospice for their kind compassionate service, especially, Pat, Angie, Terrance, Kathy, April and Monica. We would also like to thank the ladies of Bell Creek Baptist Church for their support.
