Robert D. Faulkner, 63, of Bomont, died July 20, 2005, at home.
Born on December 3, 1941, in Rainelle, he was the son of the late Eugene Klaun Faulkner and Glenna Jane Osborne Faulkner of Dupont City.
He was a conductor for the Norfolk and Southen Railroad, an Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam War, and a member of First Presbyterian Church, Dupont City.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Shirley May Mitchell Faulkner of Bomont; sons, Samuel Eugene Faulkner of Bomont and Scott Clyde Faulkner of Mill Creek, WV; daughters, Toni Lynn Phillips of Sanford, NC and Pamela Diane Holbert of Clendenin, WV; brother, Larry Clyde Faulkner of Charleston, WV; sisters, Eugena Rose McCallister of Myrtle Beach, SC and Linda Jane Dugan of Leesburg, VA; grandchildren, Scott Phillips, Greg Phillips, Brittani Holbert, Chelsea Holbert, Ashley Holbert, Caleb Childers, Jacob Conrad, Zachary Faulkner, and Tanner Faulkner.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 pm on Saturday, July 23, 2005, at Carl Wilson Funeral Home, Clay, where a memorial service will be held at 7:30 pm, conducted by Minister Darris Barker. The body will be cremated.
Carl Wilson Funeral Home, Clay, is in charge of arrangements.
