Emogene McCauley Morton Stone, 81, of Lizemores entered into rest, Sunday, October 22, 2006 at CAMC Memorial Division.
Born December 8, 1924, in Sutton, she was the daughter of the late Fred Grant Morton
and Nona Keeney Morton. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Fred Wilson Stone; sisters, Geraldine, Ernestine, and Helen; brothers, James
and Milford; step-mother, Evelyn.
She was a retired cook from Lizemores Elementary School and a Christian by faith.
Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Carol and Gary Clark of Bellevue, KY, Barbara and J.B. Bodkins, Dorothy and John Humphrey, and Christine and Frank Foster, all of Lizemores; sons and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Rita of Lizemores; David Stone of Logan; brothers, Homer Morton of Lizemores and Charles Morton of Kimberly; 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 11 am Wednesday, October 25, 206, at Lizemores United Methodist Church, Lizemores, with Pastor Carl Burrows officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Cemetery, Bickmore.
